Syngenta Flowers: Tophat
Global ornamental flower breeder, Syngenta Flowers, had data to prove that their new Begonia offered the largest blooms in its class, but competitors were making similar claims. To launch the Tophat® Begonia, Syngenta Flowers wanted to create a standout brand identity and marketing support to gain sell-in at garden centers across the country.
Branding
Trone developed a compelling brand identity for the Tophat® Begonia, including a product logo and language palette to communicate the product’s differentiator—all within the Syngenta Flowers corporate brand guidelines.
Marketing
Our creative specialists developed a branded presence that demanded attention for the flower’s debut at California Spring Trials. Oversized point of sale banners, custom plant tags and pack handles helped garden retailers instantly recognize the benefit of Tophat® Begonias. The launch was a success, resulting in preorders from retailers across the country.
