We are seeking an Interactive Project Manager with experience and expertise both internal and external routing of interactive projects. This position requires someone who will manage the internal team workflow and task assignments, ensuring that projects are completed on schedule and within budget. In addition, the IPM will work with the Vice President, Project Management, Creative and Account Service to determine best practices, enabling technology and process for the agency as a whole. This position reports directly to the Vice President, Project Management.
Responsibilities of the position include:
- Frequent interaction with account teams, the interactive team and creative department to develop project scopes, requirements, budgets and timelines
- Establishes realistic deadlines and prioritizes project activities and tasks
- Develops and maintains project plans and other relevant project documentation
- Ensures that projects remain on schedule, within budget and that targets and requirements are met
- Monitors project status, progress and deliverables through continuous communication
- Pays special attention to any potential areas of concern, and work to keep collaboration and teamwork flowing throughout each project
- Prepares and analyzes status reports on project progress, keeps appropriate people informed of project status and disseminates all relevant information
- Balances a sense of urgency with a calm and confident demeanor, especially in stressful or pressured situations
- Is versatile, organized, ready and able to provide hands-on solutions
The right candidate must possess exceptional organizational and communication skills, professionalism and integrity. Experience in web design and development, marketing, eCommerce, client-based work or a related field is a plus.
Requirements:
- The ability to multi-task, work independently, creatively and efficiently in a fast-paced and challenging environment
- The ability to demonstrate flexibility, attention to detail, confidence and a commitment to outstanding client service
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree
- This role requires 3+ years of experience managing interactive web-based projects
- Previous experience with web-based projects and within an interactive agency or similar client services environment is required
- Operational knowledge of web strategy, design, development and programming technologies is preferred
- Experience with a job tracking system is a plus
